Join us for our Annual Tree Lighting on the Nichols Green. We will be playing holiday music. Rumor has it that Santa will be taking a break from the North Pole to make a special "socially distanced" visit to Nichols. In order to allow as many children as possible a visit with Santa we are asking that families limit their ticketed attendance to 1 parent per household. If we reach capacity we will ask guests to watch from United Nichols Methodist Church, Trinity Church or the sidewalk on Shelton Rd. As the Green clears families will be invited into the area to take pictures.
COVID GUIDLEINES: We will follow all in-place protocols includng facemasks, outdoor limits of 50 people and at least 6ft of spacing per group.

As the Nichols Green clears, families will be invited into the area to take pictures by the tree and visit with Santa. Tree+Santa OVERFLOW is limited to 1 parent per household. Join the traditional “Christmas Fires” display and light the luminaria at dusk on Christmas Eve. The “Christmas Fires” are something to behold and are a long standing Nichols Tradition. The luminaries are votive candles placed in sand on the bottom of paper bags and can be placed on walkways, driveways and porches. This familiar glow is a part of Christmas for Nichols and people come from near and far to witness the special warmth of these traditional lights.
